I caught this film on film 4 a few years ago, wow...it blew me away. Danny Huston is amazing in this film, you really feel the pain for him. A true hollywood tale of excess. I have watched it numerous times and always get drawn into it every time. Has a digital and docu feel to it which adds to the film. One of the best and strangest starts to any film and the ending is thought provoking. BUY IT NOW AND ENJOY.
Amazing!October 12, 2007 This film is quite superb. One of the best. Dark, but brilliantly portrayed and you can't help but get caught up in the main character. Search it out!

This film is a masterpiece. I'm surprised that I am the first to submit a review of the film on here. I can't praise the film highly enough. It is up there with the most moving, powerful, and realistic films ever made. Dany Huston's performance is masterful. It's not often that i have seen a film and found myself still feeling it's emotional impact two weeks later. The only other films i can think of that have had this effect on me are 'The Deer Hunter', Werner Herzog's 'Grizzly Man', and Gasper Noe's 'I Stand Alone'. If you haven't seen this film yet, buy it.
