Parents of new readers will know how a child keeps returning to the same books in the childrens' section of the local library. My five year old loved reading this aloud and then wanted to know more about the water cycle.
After renewing this book several times I decided to buy it for him!
A young bird asks its Mum all about clouds and is told how they "suck up" water from the sea and then what happens to one particular raindrop as it begins its long journey back to the sea.
A fascinating and well explained story, the colourful illustrations and easy-to-read words make this book a joy for the inquisitive new reader.
