5 out of 5 stars A must read for all   September 12, 2008

I read a review of this in the Guardian and was instantly interested. I'm trying to do whatever I can to eat ethically and this is a great book to make people aware of the plight of our oceans.

The author provides a completely unbiased view of the the plights of specific species and writes in depth of not only the usual factors we associate (overfishing, global warming), but of trophic levels and the invasion of habitat by alien species.

After finishing this book I am now far more aware of what I take and put in to the oceans.
