5 out of 5 stars I laughed out loud   October 28, 2008

Couldn't put it down and embarrassed my wife by laughing out loud when reading it in public places.

I'm not a dog lover but I would love to take Blake down the pub but not to the resturant.

Brilliant.

3 out of 5 stars OK for a couple of months   August 31, 2008

A reasonably enjoyable book, although somewhat repetitive and at times rushed in terms of the "Owners" story. There are plenty of novel ideas for life in a dog's mind and enough clever one-liners to keep you smiling.

A good holiday book, that doesn't involve any thinking or concentrating and will undoubtedly strike a chord with any dog owners present or past.

This book made me laugh out loud so many times with tears streaming down me face. I have 2 dogs and can relate to their antics in this story. I am now reading it for a second time as it is so funny. Highly recommended.

My partner is a fanatical dog person (we have three)& I bought this book for her as a stocking filler last Xmas, she is still to have the pleasure of reading it, but I had to read a chapter or two....just to see what it was like? Once I started I was hooked, I laughed out loud & had tears running down my face, I can relate to so many of the funny instances in this dogs life.......fantastically funny! Dog lover or not this will really bring a smile to your face.

5 out of 5 stars Funny, even if you are a cat lover!   December 4, 2007

This book made me laugh out loud on a few occations. I wouldn't have minded, but as I was reading it when I was supposed to be working I got a few odd looks from my boss!

I am not a dog lover, but bought this book on a friends recommendation, but quickly found myself loving Blake.

The author states that most of Blake's antics came from true life experiences with his own dogs. I wonder if that includes the incident with the neighbour's "Thingie"?
