the book in itself is very informative, but as it is american written, some of the ways the dogs are cut is not to english kennel club show standard so please be aware before you buy this book.

I recently bought this book because i am starting in the dog grooming business. It is a really excellent book, showing correct tools, techniques, and cuts for the popular, and not so popular breeds. Would recommend to anyone interested in grooming

On setting up a new dog grooming parlour this book was loaned to me by a friend. What a good friend she turned out to be! This book tells you exactly how to groom each breed step by step.It contains deatiled information guiding the reader through bathing, nail clipping, trimming the coat and drying the dog. Detailing what equipment should be used at each stage. Well laid out with good illustations of each breed. Each breed of dog is easy to find as the book is in strict alphabetical order, with a seperate section at the end, containing unusual breeds, again in alphabetical order.I now have my own copy!
